**Accessing & Installing the InphoniteApp**

This guide will walk you through accessing the InphoniteApp, removing any older applications (InphoniteVoice or Artof.Chat), and completing setup with multi-factor authentication (MFA).

**⚠️ Important:**  
For best performance, uninstall the deprecated *InphoniteVoice* or *Artof.Chat* desktop applications before installing the InphoniteApp.

### 🧹 Preparing for Installation

If you already have the legacy desktop client installed, follow these steps to uninstall it:

1. Open the **Control Panel** on your Windows device.
2. Navigate to **Programs > Programs and Features**.
3. Locate **InphoniteVoice** or **Artof.Chat** in the list.
4. Right-click the program name and select **Uninstall**.

### 🌐 Accessing Inphonite

Accessing the new Inphonite platform has been simplified for browser-based and desktop use.

You can access the full Inphonite experience directly in your browser or optionally install the app as a desktop application for quicker future use.

### 💻 How to Install the Inphonite Desktop Application

While on the [https://client.artof.chat](https://artof.chat/) page, look for a banner or icon stating **“App Available”** near the address bar or settings icon.

Click the **Install** icon to begin the setup process.

A new window will appear prompting you to confirm installation preferences.

**We recommend the following options for ease of use:**

- ✅ Use default configuration
- ✅ Add a Desktop Shortcut
- ✅ Enable “Auto-Start on Device Login” (optional, for users who monitor Inphonite regularly)

After installation, the app will launch in a dedicated window. You will be presented with the login screen for Inphonite.

### 🔐 Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Upon your first login on a new device:

1. Enter your username and password.
2. A 6-digit authentication code will be sent to your email from: **[notifications@inphonite.net](mailto:notifications@inphonite.net)**
3. Enter the code to complete login and access your dashboard.

**Having trouble with MFA?**

Once authenticated, your personalized Inphonite Dashboard will load.
